STELLA ARTOIS ON-PREMISE ENGAGEMENT PLATFORM

The Ask:
Create an on-premise engagement platform for ordering a Stella Artois in the much-elevated Stella Artois Chalice.

We went a couple of different routes — the “BarCode” Route and then the more classic, Chalice-focused route called the Please platform.
For the BarCode route, we did a play on the fact that Stella teaches bartenders how to do the “perfect pour” when pouring & service Stella in their chalice — aka their “Bar Code”. Combine that with a branded and interactive QR code where you can earn points every time you scan and order a perfect-pour Stella, and you have a pretty stellar on-premise engagement platform!
For the Please platform, we wanted to accentuate the properness of the Chalice, the “perfect pour,” the way you drink to savor it (like you would a fine wine), and, of course, say your pleases and thank yous. So in the headline, we encourage you to “Savor It the way it was meant to be savored.” And tagged it with “Order in style, call it a Chalice of Stella, please.” With this campaign, we thought it’d be fun for patrons to learn how to perform the “perfect pour” like the bartenders are taught, so we set up a Perfect Pour station! And to make it even better, why not set them up all over — airports, subway stations, etc?! But while the glass chalice is classic and quintessential Stella, we thought we’d create a “collapsible chalice” so that you could get that perfect pour wherever you go, and not have to worry about the glass!
